The teaching corps consists of teachers with extensive experience in teaching refugees and immigrants, and teachers who themselves are familiar with the campaign’s themes and have had similar experiences. All the teachers have a broad knowledge of the subject areas and have received a thorough introduction to the educational material, its development and application in the campaign.
There are two speakers assigned to each course. One teacher with extensive teaching experience within the target group and the other from an ethnic minority background and who, therefore, should enhance the connection with the course participants, and with whom participants can identify.
In this way, the intention is that the teachers are able to reach out to everyone in the primary target groups (both newly arrived and resident refugees as well as immigrants and their descendants, and including women, men and adolescents).
The pairs of teachers are put together to match the target audience and context in which they will present.
